• The Knights of Columbus was started in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney to insure financial security to Catholic families devastated by the death of the family breadwinner.  The Organization focuses on the principles of charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism.  In the present day, the Knight of Columbus is the largest Catholic family fraternal service insituttion in the world.
  
  Our local Council #962 was founded in 1905.  Our Council takes a leadership role in spiritual, social, fundraising, community and younth activities for the benefit of members, parish and Church.
